Pozitif
Pozitif, which has the title of being the leading institution in the live music and event management sectors in Turkey, has been bringing together local and international followers with large-scale concerts, festivals, shows, and cultural and artistic events since 1989. Pozitif has also organized many stadium concerts to date. Cappadox, Turkey's first international multi-disciplinary destination festival, created by Pozitif in 2015, brought fans with the Cappadocia experience during its 4th edition in 2018. Akbank Jazz Festival, one of the longest-running and the most well-received jazz festivals in Turkey, brought together over 100 artists from the Turkish Jazz scene to 10.000 music lovers in 10 different venues for 10 days in its 31st year. Apart from organizing and content planning for Akbank Jazz Festival, Cappadox, One Love Festival and Red Bull Music Festival, Pozitif also has brands like Volkswagen Arena, Doublemoon and Babylon Soundgarden under its roof.
Babylon
Babylon, which opened its doors in Asmalımescit as Pozitif's "home" in 1999, began to shape the music scene, and entertainment and social life of the city, while aiming to bring all the sounds of the earth to Istanbul with an intercultural approach. As well as transforming the neighborhood, Babylon also plays an active role in directing the attention of the international culture and arts press on Istanbul. Babylon moved to Yapı Kredi Bomontiada in 2015 to widen its cultural impact and welcome audiences in a multi-purpose live performance center with a strong technological infrastructure. In its new house, Babylon is not only a music club, but also a 600-capacity concert hall that can host various private company events.. It allows 120.000 music fans to meet throughout the year. In 2022, Yapı Kredi carried the Babylon Soundgarden festival to Bomontiada and hosted more than 10.000 visitors during the festival.
Cappadox
Cappadox, which was held for the first time in 2015, set out to add new experiences to be discovered through combining music, contemporary art, gastronomy, and outdoor activities in the inspiring geography of Cappadocia. It is also thought that one of the most likely sources of the name Cappadocia is the Cappadox branch of the Kızılırmak River in the region, which is now known as Delice Stream. Cappadox takes its name from this past, the unexpected nature of water, it’s fluidity and fertility. Cappadox, an interdisciplinary culture festival that hosts artists from Turkey and abroad in its program, has been welcomed with great admiration since its first year.
Some of the artists that elevated the Cappadox experience throughout the years are: Sun Ra Arkestra, Mum, Eric Truffaz, Kaki King, Mulatu Astatke, Jozef Van Wissem, Stefan Micus, Julia Holter, Mercan Dede, Nils Petter Molvaer, and İlhan Erşahin.
Babylon Soundgarden
Babylon Soundgarden Music Festival has been bringing Babylon, the music temple of Pozitif, into the festival environment since 2011. Since 2019, the festival showcases alternative and new music to young audiences at the island surrounded by music on all four sides: Yapı Kredi Bomontiada. In the past, Soundgarden took place at various seaside venues in Istanbul and Çeşme.
Some of the artists that elevated the Soundgarden experience throughout the years are: Milky Chance, Oscar and the Wolf, Jamie Woon, Nouvelle Vague, Norman Jay, Pet Shop Boys, Sky Ferreira, Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, FM Belfast, Riff Cohen, Anna Calvi and many more.
