About the Event

With his life adapted to the Oscar winning film “Shine”, one of the most important pianist’s in the world David Helfgott will be at Volkswagen Arena on November 9th as part of Piu Entertainment’s organization.

Having dedicated his whole life to playing the piano and experiencing a serious illness because of it, David Helfgott will be performing Rachmaninov Piano Concerto 3 for the first time on a 360-degree stage set-up. Two pianos will be played at this special concert. The young but very successful Vietnamese-Austrian pianist Hoang Pham, who was on Limelight’s “30 Brilliant Musicians Under 30” list, will be playing alongside David Helfgott.
